Spring 2019 One Room Challenge: Week Four

We're half way there, friends! This week has been full of happy claps at our house because so many things are happening. We started building the built-in storage bench at the end of the counter, moved some of the excess furniture to the basement, painted the living/dining room in a fresh, crisp white, hung the Minted gallery wall around the TV and removed the old trim from the top of the kitchen cabinets. It's also been busy with lots of panicky middle of the night wake ups wondering what I may have forgotten.

Most exciting of all, we had the new counters installed yesterday. I honestly almost cried when they were put in place. They are just so pretty! I chose Calacatta Nuvo from Caesarstone which is a soft white with pale grey details.

I've paired it with this stunner of a sink from Home Depot Canada. It's from the Blanco Précis collection in white. It looks so amazing with the Caesarstone.

Here is a (rather grainy but better than nothing) sneak peek:

There is still so much to do! We have to finish the bench, the fireplace, the trim above (and below) cabinets, hang more art, wallpaper the kitchen and whatever else I've forgotten.

Next week I promise to share some more peeks of the space before the big reveal!
